Dr. Peete brings over 21 years of experience in education, including 15 years in leadership across urban, suburban, rural, and charter settings. She is dedicated to cultivating high-performing leaders and teachers who can move from vision to execution with clarity and purpose.
Her work is grounded in the belief that educational systems achieve measurable impact when leadership is effective, instruction is intentional, and organizational capacity is built to last. In May 2026, Harvard, Stanford, and Dartmouth researchers ranked DC #1 in the nation for academic growth in both math and reading- citing it as the fastest-improving school system in the country. Dr. Peete's leadership contributed to this work during her time with DCPS.
